Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am originally from Connecticut and moved to Florida for graduate school where quite simply I just never left. Yes, snowstorms and the cold icy winters might have had something to do with that decision. Professionally, I have extensive experience working with many different populations and enjoy complex trauma, family trauma, especially from mental health and interpersonal family dynamics. My first job was with the Department of Juvenile Justice. I worked many years with the chronically mentally ill and was a clinical director for a substance abuse and mental health program. I especially loved working with teenagers, couples and performed extensive family therapy. I believe the client is the expert on their own life.
In my free time I love spending time with my dogs, family, my godchild and being an advocate for animal rights.
