After many years of professional practice in New York I moved closer to my parents in Florida to help raise my children. Who can’t pass up a free babysitter? Joking aside, I truly believe it takes a village to raise every child. I will however offer a small confession, the palm trees, sand and sunshine might have had some influence. As one of the psychiatrist at Boca Raton Psychiatry I have truly come to love treating Bipolar Disorder, it’s one of my specialties. I also enjoy treating Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, PTSD and OCD.
I completed psychiatry residency training at Long Island Jewish Hospital Medical Center. I was also staff psychiatrist at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center. I cast a wonderful empathetic demeanor towards people and consider myself kind, caring and down to Earth. I believe my patients would say the same, as most have known me for years and come to enjoy developing long term relationships and a therapeutic alliance with me. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my two children, playing in the park, going to Miami or watching a great movie.
