I have been a practicing therapist in Florida for the last 25 years. I started my career at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore Maryland after receiving my master’s degree. However, I just knew Maryland wasn’t a place I wanted to call my forever home. Leaving the cold weather and moving to South Florida was one of the best decisions I made. Like most of us, I have not looked back since, as I truly enjoy warm weather activities year round like riding my bike and exercising outdoors. Aside from being an avid animal lover, I also enjoy listening to live music which is much better outside in the warm weather.
My goal as a therapist is to help people live a better, more fulfilling and satisfying life. I have worked with teenagers, adults and the elderly in a multitude of different settings. The place I love to work in is outpatient private practice with the wonderful therapists and Psychiatrists here in the practice. It is truly a team approach and I get to know you for weeks, months, or even years. We develop a bond and relationship that is true and strong. I thrive when I see people start to feel better after utilizing newly acquired therapeutic techniques or coping skills to work through depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and unhealthy or toxic relationships. Instilling mindfulness-based techniques and the practice of daily self-centered and grounded principles in Aside from being an avid animal lover, I also enjoy listening to live music and exercising.
order to feel whole is common in my therapeutic approach.
