Amanda Vargas LMHC

Welcome. I was raised here in Florida and I believe reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I’m here to meet you with warmth, acceptance, and a deep commitment to your healing. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with 12 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges.

My practice is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity for growth and change. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, or just feeling stuck, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences and work toward meaningful change.

I tailor therapy to fit your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches and always keeping the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work. Therapy is not about fixing you, it is about helping you feel safe, seen, and whole. My goal is to help you gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with greater self-awareness and purpose.

My specialties include anxiety and stress management, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma and PTSD. I help with relationship and communication issues, life transitions and identity exploration as well as self-esteem and personal growth.

I use an integrative, client-centered approach that blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Techniques, Trauma-Informed Care, and elements of Psychodynamic and Attachment Theory. I also incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) depending on your goals.

In every session, I aim to provide a collaborative and empowering environment where you feel supported. My style is warm, direct, and compassionate—always rooted in respect for your lived experience. If you are ready to begin your journey toward healing and greater self-understanding. I am here to walk alongside you. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
